Everyone knows moments of happiness and joy, but also moments of distress and sadness. In 'The circle of my Mothers Life' the embossing depicts the difficulties and sorrow. The photos show a few moments of glory in her life.
When I designed this quilt in January, I realised her life was very fragile, the circle of her life nearly round.
Before finishing the samples and starting the realisation of the design, the circle of her life was suddenly round.
